Welcome to the Homestead

Hand to the Plough Homestead is a small, family owned and operated farm. We never imagined owning livestock or milking cows, but our own healing journey to nourish our children with the most nutrient dense food has led us here. Our health philosophy is largely informed by the dietary principles of the Weston A. Price Foundation. We are passionate about producing as much of our own food supply as possible. We sell fresh eggs, raw milk, raw cream, greek yogurt, and ice cream. We occasionally offer sourdough bread, jams, and baked goods. We also raise pork and turkeys.

Opal (the roan colored cow) is the matriarch of our herd. She is a registered Milking Shorthorn whose milk proteins are A1/A2. She is a good mother who generously calf shared with us while raising her June 2025 heifer, Ruby. Our second milk cow, Juniper, is one of Opal’s earlier calves who makes A2/A2 milk. We look forward to supplying more milk to the local community.

Our farm store is a self-serve setup in our garage. We accept cash or Venmo payments. Please help yourself to any of the free pamphlets with information from the Weston A. Price foundation about raw milk and traditional nutrition as well as the free pamphlets from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
